How to Record a Meeting on iPhone Without an App
If you need to record a meeting on your iPhone but don’t want to install an app, you can use the built-in Screen Recording feature. This method captures both audio and video, making it a simple and effective way to save important conversations.

Step 1: Enable Screen Recording
Open Settings on your iPhone.
Go to Control Center and tap Customize Controls (on older iOS versions).
Find Screen Recording and tap the + icon to add it to your Control Center.
Step 2: Start Recording the Meeting
Swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen (or swipe up on older models) to open Control Center.
Tap the Screen Recording button (a circle icon).
If you need to capture external audio, press and hold the Screen Recording button, then tap Microphone On.
Exit Control Center, and the recording will begin after a 3-second countdown.
Step 3: Stop and Save the Recording
When the meeting is over, open Control Center again.
Tap the Screen Recording button to stop.
The recording will be saved automatically in the Photos app under "Videos."
Step 4: Extract and Transcribe the Audio with MeetMinutes
If you need a text version of the meeting, you can easily extract the audio and transcribe it:
Upload the recorded video to MeetMinutes.
The AI-powered tool will generate an accurate transcript with speaker identification.
Review and export the transcript in various formats.
This method allows you to record meetings on your iPhone without installing additional apps while ensuring you can easily reference and organize the conversation later.
