How to Set Up Zoho CRM Integration with MeetMinutes

This guide provides a step-by-step process to integrate Zoho CRM with MeetMinutes. By connecting Zoho CRM to MeetMinutes, you can seamlessly log meeting notes directly into your CRM.

Set Up Zoho CRM Integration with MeetMinutes

  1. Log in to your MeetMinutes account

  2. Navigate to Integrations

    • From the left-hand navigation bar, click on Integrations.


  3. Find Zoho CRM Integration

    • On the Integrations page, browse the list of supported integrations.

    • Locate Zoho CRM and click on the Connect button.


  4. Choose Your Zoho Region

    • A modal will appear prompting you to select your region.

    • Choose the region where your Zoho account is hosted and proceed.


  5. Log in to Zoho CRM

    • You will be redirected to the Zoho login page. Enter your Zoho account credentials.

  6. Grant Permissions

    • After logging in, grant MeetMinutes the necessary permissions to access your Zoho CRM account by clicking Accept.


  7. Confirmation

    • Upon successful connection, you’ll be redirected back to the Integrations page in MeetMinutes.

    • The connection status for Zoho CRM will display as Connected.

How MeetMinutes Works with Zoho CRM


Once integrated, MeetMinutes provides a one-way connection to Zoho CRM. This means:

  • Any meeting-related insights generated by MeetMinutes will be automatically logged in Zoho CRM.

  • Tasks manually updated / created in MeetMinutes will not sync back to Zoho CRM.

  • Tasks created or updated in Zoho CRM will not be reflected in MeetMinutes.

Only system-generated content from processed meetings will be updated in Zoho CRM, ensuring a structured and automated workflow.

  1. Create Meeting Event

MeetMinutes automatically creates a meeting event in Zoho CRM with the following details:

  1. Meeting Name

  2. Description

    • Includes a summary, important points, questions, and action items for both you and others.

  3. Meeting Start/End Date

  4. Participants

    • Names and email addresses of all attendees.


Additionally, MeetMinutes attaches the following documents to the meeting event:

  • Meeting Insights: A PDF file summarizing the meeting.

  • Meeting Transcriptions: A TXT file containing the complete transcription of the meeting.

  • Meeting Video: A URL link valid for 7 days.

  • MeetMinutes Dashboard Link: A direct link to the meeting card in the MeetMinutes dashboard.

B. Task Integration

MeetMinutes automatically creates tasks for user-specific action items discussed during the meeting and adds them to the Tasks section in Zoho CRM.

Important: Tasks are created only based on system-processed meeting insights.

  • Any tasks manually updated / created in MeetMinutes will not sync to Zoho CRM.

  • Any tasks created or updated in Zoho CRM will not appear in MeetMinutes.

This ensures that your meeting insights and actionable items are seamlessly recorded and accessible in Zoho CRM.

C. Automatic Contact Creation

MeetMinutes automatically creates contacts in Zoho CRM for people you have meetings with, if they don’t already exist in the CRM. It also associates the meeting details with the respective contacts.


This streamlined approach ensures that all meeting insights are linked to the correct contacts, enhancing organization and accessibility within Zoho CRM.
